SYTYCD Auditions Salt Lake City
The next stop for the SYTYCD casting crew will be Salt Lake City.
So You think you can dance in Salt Lake City? If so you’ll have a chance to prove it next week as the SYTYCD casting hits Salt Lake. The hit FOX dance competition is going nationwide to find dancers all across the US to compete on the hit dance show.
Season 9 is now casting and only 2 more dates are left for dancers and non dancers to audition. The Salt Lake City tryouts for season 9 will be held on February 23rd 2012 in Utah. In previous seasons some dancers who auditioned in Salt Lake City got on the show and Utah native, Sabra Johnson I believe, went on to actually win in a previous season.
SYTYCD Registration will begin at 8:00 AM on February 23rd 2012. Please note that callbacks will be scheduled for the 24th and the 25th, so if you are coming from out of town, you may want to schedule the 2 extra days just in case you get lucky and asked to come back for a second audition.
Registration begins Thursday, Feb. 23 at 8 a.m. at the Capitol Theatre, 50 W. 200 South, Salt Lake City.
All dancers auditioning must be at least 18 years of age and have valid photo ID to prove their age at the time of registration. Those who come without ID will not be allowed to audition.
All dancers must fall into the age group of 18 to 30 years old. If you are over 30 years old, you will not be allowed to audition.
All dancers must be US citizens or allowed to legally work in the United States.
