WORKING TITLE is a short student film about an aspiring painter recently graduated from college. After a failed art show, she escapes to her hometown and is bombarded with the issues (or lack there of) of family and friends, forcing her to confront the choices she’s made in her life and the ones she’s ignored.
CASTING FOR:
ANNA (21-25): Recent college graduate, a painter, soft-spoken and observant, creative.
LINDA (45-55): Anna’s mother, strong willed and sophisticated. Harboring feelings of disappointment for the life Anna’s chosen.
MICHAEL (24-27): Anna’s brother, going through a divorce, genuine and kind. Very close to and supportive of Anna.
Auditions will be held on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20 between 1:00PM and 5:00PM in 1104 S. Wabash, ROOM 307. Feel free to stop by anytime in that window.
Please prepare a SHORT MONOLOGUE and expect to read an excerpt from the script, given at the time of the audition. Bring along a HEADSHOT and RESUME or email to mckenna.hynes@loop.colum.edu.
This is a low budget student project. Actors will receive meals as well as a copy of the completed film.
