Student thesis film seeks the following:
Ballroom Extras: Dancers as well as atmosphere extras. All ages welcome to audition.
Show Girls: Females (ages 18-40) to dance in a cabaret scene. Seeking both Dancers and Actresses – all dances will be taught.
Brigitte (Supporting Lead): Female (ages 18-25), primary speaking role. Will also dance with the Show Girls.
Luise (Supporting Role): Female (ages 18-30), supporting speaking role. Will also dance with the Show Girls.
Pale Man (Supporting Lead): Male (ages 18-60), primary acting role without dialogue. Will dance with the Ballroom Extras.
Auditions will be held at the Colorado Film School (9075 E Lowry Blvd, Building 965, Denver 80230) on Saturday, September 29th, beginning promptly at 4pm. Please be prepared to stay into the evening. A dinner break will be provided.
Please bring a headshot and resume, and dress comfortably. Those interested in the roles of Brigitte and Luise, please additionally come prepared with a 1-minute monologue.
Filming will take place on the weekends of January 18-20 and 25-27. Due to the fact that this is a student production, all roles are unpaid. However, film credit, a copy of the finished DVD, and catering during the filming will be provided.
