The Monson Arts Council will be holding open auditions for ‘The Secret Garden’ directed and choreographed by Kathleen Delaney and Musical direction by Elisabeth Weber. Auditions will be held on June 17th from 1-4 pm and June 18th from 7-9pm at Memorial Hall in Monson. Interested actors/ singers should come prepared with an audition song. Please provide sheet music or a recorded accompaniment on CD (sheet music preferred) You will also be asked to read from the script. Call backs will be held Wednesday June 20th @ 7pm.
There are roles for young adults and for men and women of all ages. Children’s roles include a female lead and male lead (able to play 10 -13 years old), as well a few small roles for older elementary aged children.
The show will run Oct. 26, 27, 28 and Nov. 2, 3, 4 and there will be a school performance TBA. Full cast rehearsals start in early August.
