Casting Call for “The Midwife’s Apprentice”
adapted by Constance Congdon from the Newberry Award-winning book by Karen Cushman. Drama.

October 19 – October 27 – Set in Medieval England, we meet Brat, a young abandoned girl living hand-to-mouth with a cat as her only companion. Her journey begins when she becomes an apprentice for Jane, the stern village midwife. As Brat learns the secrets of midwifery she begins to realize her potential, transforming from nameless foundling to radiant Alyce.

AUDITIONS:

SHOW RUNS: October 19 – 27 – 10 performances Friday & Saturday evenings, Friday, Sunday and Wednesday matinees. Touring show.

REHEARSALS: Shall begin on Monday, September 17, 2012. Rehearsals are 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. MTW evenings on a scene-by-scene basis
