MTV is coming to Oakland University on April 2 2012 to hold auditions and tryouts for the MTV series “Made”. MTV is looking to make someones dream come true and that someone may be you!. Normally, MTV Made focuses on High School students but this season MTV will be doing college segments of the hit series. MTV has been going to colleges nationwide casting the show and now they will be coming to Oakland University.
MTV will be on campus on April 2nd. MTV casting directors are looking for young adults who are 18 to 26 years old to appear on the show and maybe have their dreams turned into a reality. “Made” takes young people and makes them into what they want to be. An overweight girl made into a model, A couch potato made into an athlete. A teen made into a singer, prom queen, beauty pageant contestant, musician and much more. The show achieves the transformations by having the participant work with professorial trainers, coaches and experts in the field they are entering.
“We’ve all dreamt about rubbing a magic lantern for three wishes from a genie,”. “Most people would start with wishes for fame and fortune, but what would be your third and final wish? What would truly make you happy in life?”
What is it that you wish to do? Students of Oakland University can come on down and tell the casting directors what their dreams are at a shot to get “Made” by MTV.
Students can sign-up to audition by going to the CSA Service Window. MTV casting directors will be on campus in the Lake St. Clair Room of the Oakland Center to conduct taped interviews taking place every five minutes from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on April 2.
