LOOKING FOR: Young girl (7 – 12 years old)

WORKING TITLE: The Thing You Love Most
Written & Directed by: James Bonanno & Shon Gale
Produced by: Zacharia Lorenz

SYNOPSIS: Lily is an eight-year-old girl who uses her imagination to escape the reality of her parent’s divorce. Part fairy-tale-esque fantasy, part realist drama, this film will be guided by Seuss-like narration. When Lily’s parents forget to pick her up from school, she is forced to walk home late at night. Her imagination soon meshes with the real world and ominous shadow creatures fill the walls around her. Finally making it home, she eavesdrops on her parent’s final argument, and retreats to the fort in her room. Ultimately her Mom joins her inside, and together they accept reality: Dad isn’t coming back.
