Casting Call “Halt and Catch Fire” from AMC
Season 1 of the new AMC drama “Halt and Catch Fire“ is now filming in the Atlanta area and will continue filming into early 2014. The film is looking for extras who can portray people from the 80’s which includes lots of big hair and mustaches.
AMC has produced some critically acclaimed TV shows which includes the now over “Breaking Bad“, “The hit “Walking Dead” and “Mad Men”. If they continue the trend, then this will be another show we wont want to miss.
The TV series Halt and Catch Fire is about the rise of PC’s in the 80’s. Halt and Catch Fire is an expression from the computer world that refers to several computer machine code instructions that cause the CPU to cease meaningful operation. The expression “catch fire” is intended as a joke; the CPU does not catch fire.
Set in the early 1980s, series dramatizes the personal computing boom through the eyes of a visionary, an engineer and a prodigy whose innovations directly confront the corporate behemoths of the time. Their personal and professional partnership will be challenged by greed and ego while charting the changing culture in Texas’ Silicon Prairie.

Scoot McNairy, Mackenzie Davis, Kerry Bishé, David Wilson Barnes, Toby Huss.
The show is set to film 10 episodes and will premiere in 2014.

Also looking for some down and out 30’s to 40’s waitresses – Also a female waitress with BIG Red hair
Lastly two men caucasian, and African American with waiter experience — in their 40’s to 50’s

Extras will be paid and can expect to work 8 to 12 hours. Pay for extras is about $64.00 for 8 hours and over 8 will be overtime.
