Short Film: Just Under Sixty
Synopsis: Timothy Hayes, an American soldier fighting in World War II, is held captive by Nazi officers. They torture him, seeking information on military plans and advancements. His story is revealed through a series of flashbacks of his wife and daughter. Desperate for her husband to stay home and protect the family, his wife, Mary, urges him not to go to war, scared that he won’t come home. Trapped behind the bars, Timothy finds himself at gunpoint faced with the option of betraying his country or breathing his last breath.
Character Breakdown-
Timothy: Caucasian, mid-thirties, small to medium build, short to medium hair, not clean-shaven
Mary: Caucasian, mid thirties, loving wife to Timothy that appears happy, concerned for Timothy’s life
Two Nazi officers: Caucasian men, 18+, preferred German accent or ability to speak German (not required), forceful and harsh actions
Elderly couple: Man and woman, 60 or older, in love with each other, happy couple (no lines)

This is for a high school student production, composed of a team of students students dedicated to making wonderful film.
Since this is a period piece, set in WWII, we will need actors’ sizes immediately for wardrobe.
