For a staged reading of CLUTTER, an original play.

Audition Dates: Feb. 7 & 8 at 7 p.m.
Callback Date: Feb. 9 at 7 p.m.
Production Dates: April 12 & 13

Character List:
ME, man in his late 40s, early 50s
SIR, man in his early 40s
WOMAN, woman in her late 20s, early 30s
TEEN, man in his early 20s

Synopsis:
A cluttered desk sits center stage. A man (ME) begins clearing the desk off and in the process recalling, reliving, and reinterpreting aspects of his life and marriage with the help of three characters identified as WOMAN, SIR, and TEEN. The three characters at times play the man, his wife, his son, the man as a boy, his father, his mother as well as themselves. As he goes about his task, ME explores the nature of his relationships as a father, son, and husband. And in the end must decide a course of
action that challenges his flawed understanding of love and commitment.

Audition:
• Cold readings from the script, although actors can request reading samples by emailing bcox1001@gmail.com
• Actors auditioning for ME should be prepared to perform an improvised monologue.
• Auditions will be held at Two Twelve Arts Center, 216 W. Michigan Ave. Saline, Michigan.
* Actors will be paid a stipend for their work.
