Ya’el Tap Dance Company is Seeking dancers

Ya’el Tap (founded by artistic director Julie Rubin) is a tap dance company featuring works inspired by Hebrew music and Jewish culture. In addition, Ya’el Tap also performs pieces that express secular and social issues such as feminism, human emotions, addiction, and many more. We are currently looking for new tap dancers (all ethnic backgrounds, races, and religions are encouraged to audition) to join our company! At this time, rehearsals are unpaid, however; there will be compensation for various performances. In addition, the company receives a free master class from a different master teacher every few months. Weekly rehearsals are mandatory and are held every Monday evening from 6PM – 7:30PM at Pearl Studios. You can check out our website at www.julie-rubin.com
Time: Please arrive between 12:45PM and 1:15PM to fill out a form and warm yourself up in the space. We will begin promptly at 1:15. We will be finished no later than 4:00.
What to bring/prepare: You will be taught a combination at the audition. Just bring your tap shoes and be ready to dance!
