Genre: Christian Hip-Hop Opera (which utilizes 3D projection mapping for set design)
Logline: An arrogant hip-hop idol stands trial for conspiracy to commit generational menticide through his music, but a higher authority offers an opportunity for true repentance.
Casting for:
Hip-Hop Mogul (Lead) – 35-40 years old Male. African-American. Performer. Strong believable stage presence, intelligent character who has already been through hell and back. Not easily intimidated. Will stop at nothing to grow his empire and dominate the music industry.
Younger version of Mogul (Supporting) – 13-16 year old male. African-American. Performer. Must have strong rapping ability and an understanding of the hip-hop culture. Strong believable stage presence, intelligent character who has already been through hell and back. Not easily intimidated. Will stop at nothing to grow his empire and dominate the music industry.
Judge (Supporting) – 30+ Male/Female, Friendly, outgoing. Great sense of humor. Able to exhibit a spiritual center. Strong singing skills.
Lawyer (Supporitng) – 25+ years old. Male. – Political, Intelligent, Direct, and ability to exhibit great focus.
Lawyer (Supporting) – 25+ years old. Female – Political, Intelligent, Direct, and persuasive. Strong rapping or singing skills.
Extras: 25+ age, all races and backgrounds. Talented singers are needed also.
