The BOSTON WEEKEND FILM PROJECT is looking for up to eight local non-union actors of all ages and ethnicities to be part of our first short film of 2013. Selected actors will have a role written specifically for them in a short ensemble script to be shot June 7-9, 2013 in Boston and vicinity.
Actors will receive screen credit and a DVD of the completed film. The film will be uploaded to Vimeo and YouTube. Segments from the film may be added to your acting reel. Cost: $600. Selected actors will be interviewed and auditioned via Skype. If cast, a non-refundable deposit of $300 will be due upon acceptance to hold your place.
The Project is headed by writer/director Micki Selvitella, and Emmy-award winning cinematographer and producer, Teja Arboleda. Went to north east broadcasting in Boston on Berkley st. I took radio, and tv production. My elective was acting, and I aced it. I enjoyed it very much. It was easy molding myself into whatever character my acting teacher wanted me to be.
