Boys Choir for Cinemax Series in NYC

A new cinemax series “The Knick is currently filming in New York City and is seeking a boys choir (not boys in age) to work in early January of 2014.

Cinemax, Steven Soderbergh and Clive Owen will be bringing The Knick to cable TV in 2014.

About the ptoject:

Set in downtown New York in 1900, THE KNICK centers on Knickerbocker Hospital and the groundbreaking surgeons, nurses and staff, who push the bounds of medicine in a time of astonishingly high mortality rates and zero antibiotics. The writing team of Jack Amiel and Michael Begler (Raising Helen, Big Miracle), who wrote the pilot for the series, will serve as executive producers, along with Soderbergh, Owen, Michael Sugar (Rendition) and Gregory Jacobs (Behind the Candelabra).

The show is being cast by Grant Wilfley casting NYC.

Cinemax series staring Clive Owen, directed by Steven Soderbergh is seeking 12 members of a boys choir (ages early 20s) for work Tuesday 1.7.14 in an UPSCALE WEDDING SCENE. Fittings will be the week of Dec. 16th. If you are a part of a choir and interested and 11 other members of your choir are interested, please email theknick@gwcnyc.com with contact information and pictures of ALL 12 members. The subject line should read “FACEBOOK BOY’S CHOIR.” The body of the email should include pictures, names and phone#s to contact.
