The Group Theatre Too is seeking trained musical theatre performers to participate in the 2013 Broadway Performance Project directed by Kimberly Vaughn and choreographed by Justin Boccitto. During the course of the program participants will work for an aggregate of 50 hours rehearsing and performing an opening group number and a solo musical theatre piece at The Laurie Beechman Theater in Manhattan. The performances are open to the public and invited industry professionals. Additionally, “The Broadway Performance Project” provides an “in studio” workshop performance in front of an industry panel to include a casting director, agent and Broadway veteran who will offer feedback to the performers which they will implement in their public performances. This session BPP is also including Kimberly Vaughn’s game-changing “Audition Essentials” workshop as part of the program. Auditions for Broadway Performance Project are by appointment only on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 9/10, 9:30-1:00pm.
