Casting Call for Two Short Student Films – Chicago

Casting Call!
(To put it simply, we need actors!)

On Friday, March 22nd, from 1 to 6pm,
the second open audition will be held for
not one but two short films!
Where? 1104 S. Wabash
Chicago IL. Room
319, on the third floor.

The Driver – Dir. Matthew Smith.

When a man who delivers packages no questions asked falls onto his employers bad list as a result of two teenage amateur detectives, they must work together to outsmart the dangerous gangsters that are out to tie up the loose ends!

Parts needed are:
BOB (late 20’s/early 30’s) A loner devoid of almost all human contact who’s world is thrown out of whack by two teenagers who he must choose to protect or get rid of.
(Must preferably pass for over 25.)

COREY (Late teens) One of the two amateur detectives who attempts to steak out what is suspected to be a drug house, but would never expect what he’s getting himself into.

JOHN (late 40’s, early 50’s) The big crime boss behind it all.

Bring monologue if you wish, but they aren’t necessary. If possible, please come in a black suit and tie for all parts except Corey.

Payment for acting will be in the form of good eats and drinks while on set and a finish copy of the film on DVD.

Why Do Fools Fall in Love? – Dir: Agapito Rodriguez

When Marcus finds out his wife is two timing him, he will stop at nothing to ensure he’s never played for a fool again.

Parts needed are:

Emmett (late 30’s/40’s) The shady private detective who delivers the bad news to Marcus before revealing that he’s more than just a private eye.

Bring monologue if you wish, but not necessary.

Payment for acting will be in the form of good eats and drinks while on set and a finish copy of the film on DVD.
