Announces Auditions for the World Premiere Production
of Christopher Bibby’s new crazy comedy
SCARING THE NORMALS

SYNOPSIS:
WORLD PREMIERE! Theatre Nebula continues to bring you the best new quality theatrical literature with this hilarious large cast comedy by the up and coming playwright, Christopher Bibby. A neurotic psychologist is forced to teach his cad brother how to empathize with other people, “so the brother can pick up chicks.” But along the way, the psychologist is forced to practice what he preaches when the lady in question falls for him instead. Scaring the Normals is a witty comedy of mistaken identity and finding oneself.
AUDITION INFORMATION:
Auditions will be held on Sunday, March 3rd and Monday, March 4th from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM, by appointment in 5 minute slots, at Cutting Hall 150 E. Wood Street, Palatine, Illinois, 60067. Callbacks will be on Wednesday, March 6th from 6:30 PM to 10 PM at the same location. Both men and women are needed, age 18 and older. If coming from Chicago, or out of town, Cutting Hall is only 4 blocks east of the Palatine Train Station, on the very same street!
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your audition time slot. The audition will consist of your prepared, memorized one to two minute contemporary (1920-present) comic monologue.
Performance dates are May 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 24th, 25th, and 26th at the historic Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 E. Wood Street in Palatine, Illinois, 60067. Friday and Saturday shows are at 8:00 PM; Sunday shows are at 3:00 PM. One single performance or preview may be added. Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled to begin around March 9th and will be held in Palatine.
