Casting for a Columbia College Chicago Graduate Program Short Film
The project: “For Pete’s Sake” tells the story of Pete’s struggle to reach the mailbox before the love of his life passes him by. The story is told through the eyes of Billy, Pete’s truth stretching best friend.
This is a short film to be shot in the coming months for the Cinema Directing and Creative Producing programs at Columbia College Chicago. We will be shooting a test scene in two weeks and hope to have our main characters, Pete and Billy, casted for that.
Pete, 25, male: white male, airs on the skinny side and wears glasses. Pete is a shy cartoonist that relates better to comic books than he does to women.
Billy, 25, male: white male, with greasy hair and extra meat on his bones. Billy owns the comic book store where he and Pete hang out; while he is a “comic book nerd,” he is still charismatic and weaves a good story.
We will be holding auditions on Thursday, January 24th. If you are interested in auditioning, please email Jeremy Widen at casting@widenmedia.com, with resume and head shot, to schedule an audition time.
