Gypsy Stage Rep will be holding open auditions for troupe members for the new Gypsy Stage Repertory on:
* Sunday, March 24 — 3pm – 7pm
* Monday, March 25 — 6:30pm – 9pm

We invite anyone 18 and older to audition.

Gypsy Stage Repertory will be operating under the umbrella of the Showcase Arts Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are passionate about creating authentic, engaging theater experiences. As our name suggests, we do not work out of a single theater; we take our shows to different venues throughout the year.

How Auditions Will Work:
Please prepare the following:
1. A one-minute comedic monologue
2. A one-minute dramatic monologue

We will also ask you to do a short cold reading of our choosing.

Compensation for Shows:
After the Repertory meets its stated financial goal for each show, additional profits will be shared by the troupe.

Our Founding Members:
Our founding members are seasoned actors and directors who have participated in well-received productions in the Tampa Bay area, including “Doubt,” “Rabbit Hole,” “Waiting for Godot,” “All My Sons,” and the original play “Dinner for Six.”

About the Repertory:
We will be a true repertory — we’ll choose the shows we do based on what fits our Repertory actors.

Workshops and training will be part of the game. If you don’t believe that actors should be constantly studying and improving, then this is not the troupe for you.

What To Do:
To request an audition slot, contact Gypsy Stage Repertory’s Artistic Director, Lil Barcaski: Lil@GypsyStage.com or 727-348-6682.

We are also actively seeking theater crew. If you’re interested in participating as crew but not as an actor, please contact Lil.
