Motive For Murder is looking to fill the following:
FOR OCTOBER 5 IN MASSILLON:
DUMB BLONDE: female; stereotypical buxom beauty; character age range 18-40; prefer blonde but hair color not an issue
JOHN GIELGUD/HELEN MIRREN TYPE: non gender specific; character age 55 – 65
FOR OCTOBER 26 IN VERMILION AND NOVEMBER 23 IN HUDSON: :
VEGAS SHOWGIRL: female; stereotypical buxom beauty; character age range 18-40; please note that you will be wearing a showgirl costume.
JACKIE MASON TYPE: male; 50’s-60’s; quick witted; should be good at telling jokes and comfortable performing stand-up comedy; will consider non-Jews.
Ideal candidates should have theater experience and possess the ability to ad-lib comfortably in character. Comedy chops and improv skills are a plus. Prior murder mystery experience not so much. Please note the shows are book heavy, so if learning lines isn’t your bag…
Pay is $100 per performance. This may very well lead to more work as we are still in the process of replacing a few key members.
Rehearsals are generally held on weekends in Euclid (late mornings/early afternoons) and will begin September 8 for the Massillon gig.
