Advanced Practicum at Columbia is a unique educational structure that models above-the-line led collaborative professional practice to yield completed films ready for exhibition and distribution.

Title of Film: Persistence of Memory

Logline: Lewis, after the loss of the love of his life, finds it hard to discern whether he is dreaming these vivid memories, or if they are actually happening in front of him.

Audition Dates: March 9, 10am – 3pm
March 22, 2-7pm
March 23, 10am – 3pm

Audition Location: 1104 S. Wabash, Chicago, IL 60605

Who we’re looking to cast:

Lewis, 30-50, unkempt, ragged, slowly losing grip on reality.

Woman, 22-34, love of Lewis’ life, striking, unique.

Audition needs: Be prepared with a monologue, bring a headshot and resume, also be ready for the prospect of a cold read.

Shoot Dates: May 2-6

Shoot Location: Chicago, IL

Incentives: Reimbursed for transportation costs, food, a copy of the finished film, which is going to stand out in your acting reel, experience on a professionally run set.
