TY BODIN, CO-STAR, late 40’s, Caucasian male, MUST SING AND PLAY GUITAR OR BASS WELL. Ruggedly handsome. Flawed. A gay father and country western musician, living in a rural community. Silent/soulful and long-suffering type who is conflicted about his relationship with his difficult longtime partner. Very relaxed and confident way about him.
KATHY BODIN, KATHY, 40’s, handsome woman. Tall with curves. Easy charm. Quietly in charge. Owns the family boarding stable. Matriarch.
LACY BODIN, SUPPORTING, 40’s, Caucasian female. Mark’s estranged mother is struggling to stay sober after years of drug addiction. A sensitive wounded animal with a rough exterior.
BRANDY, SUPPORTING, 20’s, Latina female. A sweet and slightly odd girl who catches Mark’s attention. She is very interesting in her silences and says the strangest things. Not a comedic role, but there is humor in her manner.
