Auditions for our 2013 season!

The Great Lakes Medieval Faire proudly announces cast auditions for our 21st season. Come be a part of the legend of King Arthur, bringing a role to life! The in-house street cast is well-known for interactive personal entertainment for thousands of patrons, as well as daily combat chess, music, and improvisational comedy stage shows. This season will feature the tale of King Arthur brought to life through members of the Court of Camelot, the villagers of Avaloch, and the faeries of Arcadia.

Auditioning men and women for dozens of exciting roles for our faire season, running weekends July 6th through August 11th. Rehearsals will begin in early May. Seeking volunteer actors, singers, jugglers, comedians, stage combatants, and fun-seekers ages 18 and over (16+ with parental permission) for a truly unique immersive theatre experience with one-of-a-kind training. Spend a summer medieval style, surrounded by music, revelry, and much merriment!

Auditions will be held Saturday and Sunday April 13 and 14th at the Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake, from 10 am to 5 pm both days. No appointment necessary. Please prepare a 1-3 minute monologue and, if a singing role is desired, a short a cappella song. Bring a headshot and resume, if available. All cast members perform on a volunteer basis with a meal voucher each performance day.
