Audition Notice: skype auditions for Resolve – Indie Short Film

CASTING ACTORS for a short film set to film October 18-20 in Philadelphia/South Jersey. Directed by NYU Tisch’s Zach Law, this short follows a young fighter (Saul) who battles his mother’s disputes, his identity, and death himself. This action-packed and emblematic story tackles a central theme: choose your battles wisely. “The hero and the coward both feel the same thing but the hero uses his fear, projects it onto his opponent, while the coward runs. It’s the same thing – fear. But it’s what you do with it that matters” (Cus D’Amato).
This is a great experience for actors to work with up-and-coming young filmmakers. There is no pay for this project, but you will be provided meals/credit/travel expenses! Please email headshot/resume to GBergCasting@gmail.com

MOM – SUPPORTING. Early 50s. Saul’s mother. She wants her sons to have healthy, successful lives, like her husband. She strongly disapproves of Saul’s fighting lifestyle.
TIKER – SUPPORTING. 20-40. A villainous messenger who keeps a close watch on Saul’s actions in and out of the ring.
JASON – SUPPORTING. 14 (or 18 to play younger). Saul’s brother. He looks up to Saul and strives to take care of him when no one else will.
