Open Auditions in MI
The James Brown biopic “Get On Up” has been holding multiple casting and auditions in the Jackson and Natchez Mississippi areas. If you missed the previous few open calls, you still have a chance to get in the movie because there will be another open casting call in early December.
The film covers 3 decades of Brown’s life and for that they need thousands of extras of all different types…. 1960’s looks all the way to 1990’s.
For that many options, casting is an ongoing process and casting directors hope to find more people they can use in the film. All extras will be paid and you can expect to make about $64.00 a day as a paid extra.
“Get on Up” is a Universal Pictures film and will star Chadwick Boseman, Viola Davis and Octavia Spenser.
The next call date and time is: December 7th at the Adams County Airport.
Casting directors will be looking for black males ages 16 to 25 for a scene where James Brown performed for the troops in Vietnam.

This is a really fun scene where young James Brown performs at the school and a fight breaks out!
-must have short neat hair or willing to have hair cut to the appropriate length and NO facial hair/ willing to shave to be clean faced
