Open Auditions: Madrigal Dinner auditions are Sunday, November 10th from 6-8 PM, and Monday, November 11th from 7-9 PM. Auditions will be inside the Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park.

Project Notes: A madrigal dinner is basically dinner theater in period costumes, with music and acting. It is a typical Christian celebration of Christmas.

We are specifically looking for:
— 16 singers for the head table
— 7 actors for King Quincy III, Triboulet The Jester, Bernard the Baronet of Basingstoke, Roderick the Hunchback, the Head Wench, a wandering minstrel, and the beggar woman.
— Jugglers, Magicians, Pages and Wenches (Chorus)
— Brass players (and other period musicians)

Story Line: New king throws a feast, wants to impress a girl so she’ll say yes when he proposes, which he has to do soon to stay king. Evil Uncle, next in line, tries to sabotage the feast.
