Avenue Q – Auditions:
Seeking performers for Avenue Q
Rehearsals will begin April 1, 2013 for puppet rehearsal and April 8 for other humans.
Running dates: April 18 – May 5, 2013
Audition Date: February 25, 2013
Time: 1-6 PM by appointment

Prepare: a song that shows off your voice and personality.
All roles are salaried, housing provided for out of town performers.
Cast Breakdown:
PRINCETON– A fresh-faced kid just out of college and the protagonist./ROD-
An investment banker who is Republican and a closeted homosexual.
Role is Cast
TREKKIE MONSTER -A reclusive creature obsessed with the Internet and all it has to offer./ NICKY – a slacker who lives with Rod. Male, 20-30 yrs old.
KATE MONSTER – A Kindergarten teaching assistant, who is a bit older than Princeton./ LUCY – A vixenish vamp with a dangerous edge. Female, 25-30 yrs old.
CHRISTMAS EVE¬ – A therapist who recently moved to Avenue Q from Japan.
Female, 30-45 yrs old.
BRIAN – A laid-back guy married to Christmas Eve. Male, 30-45 yrs old.
GARY COLEMAN – Yes, that Gary Coleman. Lives on the Avenue and is superintendent of the apartment buildings. Female, 20-40 yrs old.
Two other performers operate many of the puppets and also play:
MRS. T- Crabby and ancient. Kate’s boss/ THE BAD IDEA BEARS – Two snuggly, cute teddy-bear types. Other puppets as needed. 1 man, 1 woman.
