HBO miniseries ‘Olive Kitteridge’ is shooting in Massachusetts and this weekend the show’s producers are holding an open casting call for extras in Worcester Mass.
‘Olive Kitteridge‘ stars Frances McDormand(Fargo, Almost Famous), Richard Jenkins and Bill Thorpe.The 4 hour miniseries is based on a book of stories written by Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Elizabeth Strout. Tom Hanks will be one of the executive producers of the project.
Olive Kitteridge is a set of stories about a small New England town. The stories are about a woman named Olive, her friends, family and others from a town on coastal Maine. Olive is the main character and her take on the lives of these people who are very simple, yet, very engaging.
Casting directors for the miniseries are seeking extras of all types and ethnicities that are 25 years old or older.
If you would like to be an extra for the filming, you can attend the open casting call this Saturday.

Location: All Saints Church, 10 Irving Street.
The casting call is for a scene being filmed in Worcester on Monday, Oct. 21st.
All extras will be paid about minimum wage and you can expect to work about 8 hours.
