Synopsis: A female detective working a tough neighborhood in the Bronx has finally found the right case to come along for her to arrest her stepfather — completely innocent but guilty of sexual abuse years earlier– and the abused was she.

CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR ACTORS FOR THE FOLLOWING ROLES:

 

DESTINY JONES (F, 32 years old) LEAD African-American. Born and bred in NYC, detective in the NYPD. Rape victim. Survivor. Vigilante. She is Fit. Attractive. Unique. Charming. Independent. Spiritual. Impulsive. Seeks justice by any means necessary for her rapist stepfather.

MARK JOHNSON-STEPFATHER (M, 55 years old) LEAD African-American. He is charming on the surface. Controlling. Rapist. Lazy. Vindictive.

GRANDMA LINDA (F, 70 years old) LEAD African-American. Wise. Strong. Engaging. She is the supportive maternal figure for Destiny.

JENNIFER MARTINEZ (F, 35 years old) SUPPORTING Hispanic. Mother of rape victim and appears distraught and relieved when her daughter’s rapist is brought to justice.

MARISA MARTINEZ ( F, 14 years old) SUPPORTING Hispanic. Petite. She is the victim of a brutal rape and must recount the events for police.

WALTER GREEN (M, 29 years old) SUPPORTING African-American, Hispanic, Caucasian. Young rapist who actually commits the rape crime pinned on the stepfather, and is not convicted.

HOMELESS MAN (M, 40S-50S) SUPPORTING African American. His bizarre ravings while pushing a shopping cart, catches Destiny’s attention in a supernatural way.

RESTURANT PATRON HUSBAND (M, 60s) SUPPORTING African-American. Afro. Short Hair cut. Disillusioned, Destiny mistakenly thinks he is her stepfather.

RESTURANT PATRON WIFE (F, 50S) SUPPORTING African-American.

DINER WAITRESS (F, 55 years old) SUPPORTING Caucasian. Strong New York Accent. Wears too much makeup. Resembles Minnie Castevet from the film Rosemary’s Baby.

UNIFORM COP (M, 40s) SUPPORTING Any race.
