Civil War TV Pilot – ‘DELIVERANCE CREEK’
Brock/Allen Casting in Texas is seeking paid background for a 2 hour TV pilot about the civil war.
The production is seeking all types that can fit into the civil war era, such as people with very natural looks and longish hair. These are for non-speaking roles and all ethnicities are welcome to apply. No previous experience on set is necessary to apply. Base pay $58 for 8 hours of work. Additional overtime pay will apply.
Here are some of the types they are most interested in:
- Townspeople-Male/Female-Caucasian-Ages 18 and up- Natural looking people
- Union Soldiers-Male-Caucasian-Ages 18-50-Rugged, with ?facial hair if possible.
- Slaves-Male/Female-African American-Ages 10 and up- Natural hair, no artificial dyes or modern hair cuts
- Saloon Girls-Female-Caucasian-Ages 18-40-Volumptous and attractive
- Cowboys-Male-Caucasian-Ages 18-60-Rugged, cowboys, If you have boots/western wear is a plus.
- People with long hair and beards
- Specialty horseback riders
- Anyone who has civil war attire, uniforms, etc.

FOR PICTURES/DRESS FOR OPEN CALL: WOMEN: Natural hair-no obvious dye jobs or unnatural colored hair. No make up. Muted, earth-tone colors for clothing. If you have civil war type attire—please wear/bring it. MEN: Rugged, with facial hair. Beard is a plus. Muted, earth-tone colored clothing.

About the project:
It’s two years into the Civil War, when Belle’s renegade brother Jasper arrives back on the scene. Belle is beset on all sides by torn allegiances, looming financial disaster, and ultimately, a senseless tragedy that strikes very close to home. Desperate and intent on revenge, Belle just may join Jasper’s band of outlaws. Executively produced by Nicholas Sparks. The 2-hour TV Pilot ‘DELIVERANCE CREEK’ will be filming in Wimberley and surrounding areas of Austin Texas beginning next month. in November 2013.
