Open Casting Call for Sony Pictures Movie

If you live in Hawaii, here is your chance to become an extra in a big Hollywood movie.

Director Cameron Crowe has a new star studded project in the works. This is an adventure comedy romance that will be filming in Hawaii and has gone by a few different titles so far. At the moment it is going by “Untitled Cameron Crowe Project”.

The film begins production soon and needs lots of people to work on set. The production companies and their casting directors are planning a large open call next month in September of 2013.

The films plot is as follows…
A celebrated military contractor returns to the site of his greatest career triumphs and re-connects with a long-ago love while unexpectedly falling for the hard-charging Air Force watchdog assigned to him.

The movie will be written and directed by Cameron Crowe. Cameron Crowe has directed We Bought a Zoo, Almost Famous, and Jerry Maguire.

The film stars Emma Stone(iCarly, The Amazing Spider Man, 30 Rock), Rachel McAdams (Sherlock Holmes), Bradley Cooper(The Hangover, The A-Team) and Alec Baldwin(30 Rock, The Departed, Capitol One Commercials).

The new Cameren Crowe film is produced by Hi’Lawe Productions and Scott Rudin Productions. The film is currently casting in Los Angeles for principal roles as well as in Hawaii. The Film will be casting extras and featured extras in Honolulu Hawaii and production in Hawaii will begin in under a month.

There is a large extras casting call held by Rick King casting who is handling extras casting. The open call is looking for all types and ethnicities, 18 and over. Sorry, this particular call is not looking for kids. They are particularly interested in military types and Hawaiian dancers but all are welcome to come down and tryout for this big budget Hollywood production.

There should be plenty of parking for all who attend and those that get selected to be extras on the set will be paid.

This film is also known as “Deep Tiki” and a release date for the film has not been announced however chances are it will be released in 2014 or early 2015.
