The “Property Brothers” Drew and Jonathan Scott and the producers at HGTV are putting together another design show and are calling contractors, carpenters, interior designers, architects and anyone else who thinks they have got a great eye for design to come on down and audition for the show.
Are you addicted to home renovation shows? Are you constantly remodeling your own place or maybe you are a renovation professional? Here is a shot to get on TV.
HGTV is holding a casting call for season 2 of ‘Brother vs. Brother,‘ and they are also casting for a brand new interior design / renovation / reality competition home show.
The Property Brothers are Drew and Jonathan Scott, they are experts in design and real estate and in the show, they go up against each other as mentors of their teams. Each brother mentors a team of home improvement experts such as contractors, carpenters and designers. At stake is a $50,000 cash prize for the winners. This is a reality competition series, so the winning team gets to stay and play another day while the losing team has to send one of their teammates home.

There are 2 separate shows that are being cast. for the show ‘Brother vs. Brother’ casting directors are looking for:
Passionate, charismatic individuals who have major hands-on skills, an eye for renovation and real estate know-how. That means contractors, carpenters, interior designers, architects, real estate professionals, artists and those with design expertise.
For the new home renovation competition reality show they are looking for:
Dynamic friends, couples or family members with big dreams and a love for renovation and design. Handy teams of two who think they have a superior eye for design. Although home renovation experience is a plus, it is not required.
The casting call will be held in New York City in mid October. If you are planning on attending please be sure to bring photos of your work and your projects with you. The types of projects they are looking for is renovation projects and room remodels (before and after shots would be nice too). They are requesting a minimum of 6 project photos. Also, be sure to bring a current resume and a current photo of yourself and any teammate you may have. You must be a legal US resident that is at least 18 years of age to qualify for either of the HGTV home renovation shows.

I don’t know who to ask. We need help in sulphur Louisiana. I need to make my bedroom larger and make a handicap bathroom. Not only does my Mom have MS and is wheelchair bound but I have a diagnosis of a stomach disorder that causes increased weakness. My house is 1100 square feet maybe on a nice lot. We would like help with getting this space done so my mom could come live with us again. We need to learn how to attach our current garage to our house. It was messed up when the hurricane Rita hit. We used all our money to fix the main stuff. I don’t know if you can help if not can you get us in touch with who can help. Any response would be appreciated. My Mom can’t live alone anymore.
