A new PBS TV pilot is now seeking Latino families to take “My Big American Road Trip” across the country. The show is looking for Latino families that would like to go on a fun trip, have a family adventure and learn some more about Latino-American history along the way. The TV pilot is for the PBS network and producers would like to find a family to visit cultural points of interest, historical landmarks and really explore what it means to be a Latino American and share their experience with TV viewers in this public broadcasting documentary. The road trip will take about 2 weeks and families should have availability to be able to take a 2 week trip that will include filming along the way.
This fun new documentary project is meant to put a fun, new perspective on what it means to be an American…. with Latino roots.

We are producing a pilot for a new show for public television and we’re looking for a fun and fascinating Latino family to go on an adventure with us. Family should include mom and dad in their late 30s to late 40s, with kids in their teens or older. Abuelos are good too! Everyone should be chistoso and loose and willing to mix it up on camera. The show will take a unique Latino family on an All-American adventure, with a dose of American Latino history.
