Extras casting for teens and adults who are 18 to 23 for the Fox film “The Fault in our stars”
The Fault in Our Stars is based on the book by John Green.
The novel was on the New York Times bestseller list and has gotten eave review. The story depicts the lives of two Indianapolis teens, Hazel Lancaster and Augustus Waters, who are afflicted with cancer, meet at a support group for children with cancer and develop a relationship. The story pits a slightly comedic twist on what is a very sad story of 2 very sick teens.
The film will begin production in Pittsburgh later this month and has put out a casting call for extras. The film wants to use teens and adults who have been affected by cancer in the movie.
Fox is producing the movie and it stars Divergent’s Shailene Woodley
The casting specifies they want teens and young adults 13-23 years-old, who have been affected by cancer.
This is an opportunity for young people who have or have had cancer to be part of a movie about the disease that struck them.
The production would like to give teens and young adults, who have been or are currently cancer patients, the opportunity to appear in the movie.
Extras are being cast through Nancy Mosser casting and the film does not yet have a scheduled premiere date but should come out sometime in 2014.
All the extra roles are paid.
Please only apply if you live in the Pittsburgh area since travel expenses will not be covered and the paid extras will only be needed for one or two days.

The roles are non-speaking and there is no experience necessary. Those cast for these roles will be needed for approximately two to five days of filming this September. All roles are paid positions.
