Daved Productions will be filming an upcoming feature length movie in Marion County. The production company will be holding an open casting call to fill 20 roles for actors ages 7 to 75.

Marion Opera House on Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The movie has 20 open roles for actors and they will also be needing extras of all ages and ethnicities. Actors planning to audition should bring a resume(if they have one) and a current head shot that they can leave with casting directors.

DAVED Productions, LLC is an independent production company based out of both Los Angeles and South Carolina, started in 2007 by executive producer Elizabeth Snoderly. Specializing in quality feature and television productions, DAVED’s more recent projects have been geared toward the teen market, with an educational travel series “Passport to Explore” in syndication, the comedy “3 Times A Charm” distributed by Marvista Entertainment, and the feature films “Bloody Homecoming” and “1 Chance 2 Dance” both throwbacks to the classic teen horror and teen dance films of the 80’s and 90’s.

You do not need to register, actors can just come on down to the auditions to meet with producers.

The call is open to males and females of all ethnicities along with a need for many extras and families.
