Rehearsals begin June 10, every Monday Wednesday and Thursday 7-10PM- Some Saturdays
Vocal auditions require a one minute prepared song. How about something “theatrical”- it helps (Please provide
your own CD, cassette tape or MP3 musical accompaniment, a non-vocal instrumental. No a cappella-preferred.)
Acting/movement auditions (at callbacks) Cold readings from script; wear comfortable clothing/dance shoes for
movement.
All roles open. Please bring headshot and résumé.
CHARACTERS:
DR. FREDERICK FRANKENSTEIN-The eccentric grandson of a mad scientist. Male, strong singer
THE MONSTER-The large, misunderstood creation of Frederick. Male, X-large, strong grunter
IGOR-Frederick’s faithful, bright-eyed, eager servant. Male, strong comedic
INGA-The not-so-bright assistant to Frederick. Young and sexy. Female, strong singer
ELIZABETH BENNING-Self-loving, naive, boisterous fiancée of Frederick. Female, strong singer
FRAU BLEUCHER-The housekeeper of the Frankenstein estate. Intense and stern. Female, Character
INSPECTOR HANS KEMP-The justice-driven, protective, steadfast town inspector. Male, Character
THE HERMIT-The lonely, poor, blind town hermit. Male, Character
DR. VICTOR VON FRANKENSTEIN-Frederick’s infamous grandfather, Male
ZIGGY-The well-intentioned village idiot. Male
FEATURED DANCERS-4 Male and 4 Female- Here is a real chance to show your STUFF onstage!
ENSEMBLE CAST – Many featured roles (No kidding, lots of juicy roles with lines and
singing- even a barbershop quartet)
