Auditions: BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! Monday, July 22, and Tuesday, July 23, 2013, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at PowPAC, Poway’s Community Theatre, 13250 Community Road, Poway 92064. Callbacks, if necessary, will be Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Please e-mail marylousmith2001@cox.net to request an audition spot.
Performance Dates: Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm, September 19 through October 20, 2013, at PowPAC, Poway’s Community Theatre. This is a five-week run.
Rehearsals: Generally 4 evenings a week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; 7-10 pm.
Synopsis: Moss and Avis, an attractive, middle-aged couple, wake up one morning in an isolated summer house high above a picturesque body of water. The weather’s fine; the view’s magnificent. There’s only one problem — neither of them can remember who they are. When a young woman named Wren arrives, information starts to flood in. But will it help? Her explanations seem only to make Moss and Avis’ world — as well as ours — more terrifying.
Setting: A summer house high above a picturesque body of water; present day
CHARACTERS:
• Avis (45-60), amnesia victim. Moss’ wife.
• Moss (45-60), amnesia victim. Avis’ husband.
• Wren (20-29), mysterious “companion/caretaker” of Moss and Avis.
