Will Smith, Jamie Foxx and J-zee movie now casting girls for supporting roles in the film version of the hit musical “Annie”.
The Sony pictures casting call is for girls 8 to 12 years old in the New York / tri state area. All ethnicities are welcome to apply for the open roles of Annie’s friends. “Annie” will star Rose Byrne, Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx and many others and will begin production shortly. The role of Annie has been cast and will star Quvenzhané Wallis. Four female roles for pre-teens are still open and available. The film is produced by James Lassiter, Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith, Will Glick and Shawn Jay-Z Carter.
In this Sony pictures adaptation the Daddy Warbucks character will be played by Jamie Foxx and has been re-named Benjamin Stacks. The film is based on the comic strip Little Orphan Annie by Harold Gray .
The modern remake of this classic is scheduled for a Christmas 2014 release and music will be created by J-Zee.
The film is set in New York City and Casting is looking for kids in the NYC area only (NY, NJ, CT, PA, etc.)
Annie the movie is now casting girls to play the roles of Isabella (11 years old), Pepper (12 years old), Tessie (10 years old) and Mia (8 years old).

11 years old, female
All ethnicities welcome. A cute, girly foster kid. Her dreams of a better life involve a no-limit credit card and shopping sprees galore.
Pepper
12 years old, female
All ethnicities welcome. Tough. Years in the foster system have made her angry and resentful. She has built up a defensive front and is quick to criticize the other girls’ dreams of a better life. When Annie invites the girls to share in her new life, even Pepper begins to soften and experience the possibility that things can get better…
Tessie
10 years old, female
All ethnicities welcome. Cute, sweet, the worrier of the bunch. Always concerned for her foster siblings and afraid of Miss Hannigan’s wrath.
Mia
8 years old, female
All ethnicities welcome. Still has a little bit of a lisp or speech impediment. She is the baby of the group. Prone to crying, she seeks comfort from her older foster sisters.
