“The Bachelor” Open Casting Call

ABC’s The Bachelor is coming to Boston!

The search is on for singles that are still looking to find their true love and Boston area hopefuls will have their shot at finding love on the very popular reality dating series.

The show is looking for both men and women to cast in The Bachelor. They are on a search to find the man who will be the next Bachelor and the ladies who want to get to know him better.

If you want to tryout for the show you need to come on down to Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture in Braintree on June 22nd 2013. The casting call will be held by ABC’s Boston affiliate WCV-TV at the furniture store from 1PM to 5PM.

The furniture retailer, in conjunction with ABC Boston’s WCV-TV, will host an open casting call for the popular matchmaking show from 1 to 5 p.m. on June 22.

To qualify to be on the show you must be at least 21 years of age and a legal US resident. There are also other guidelines and qualifications such as having a passport and not being employed by ABC or their affiliates. For more info on that you can check their website.

Those attending the event will have their photo taken so bringing headshots is not necessary. The applicants will also have a taped interview that will be sent to casting directors.

Don’t live in Braintree but still want to tryout for The Bachelor? You can. The show is holding open calls in many other cities. You can see the rest of the season 18 tryout schedule for The Bachelor / The Bacholorette.

The show will be casting through July 2013 and the last scheduled audition will be in San Diego on July 26th. For those that can’t make it to any of the listed locations, the show is also accepting online video submissions through their website.

    Have you people ever thought of the 40 to 50 age group of people looking for love?
    What about doing a show with two women looking for love at the same time?
    My friend and I are good looking, young mature women, looking for nice men and have trouble finding it. THINK ABOUT IT.
