Cast, musicians and crew needed for “Adventures of Tex: The Last Little Whorehouse in Texas”. A rollicking look at what happened in La Grange, Texas after the closing of the Chicken Ranch, a world famous bordello. Three unemployed whores and Tex; all seeking a better life. Needed will be players for Betty Lou, age 19, Bobby Sue, age 29 and the Always Delicious and Dangerous Barbi Que, age 39. Musicians; keyboards, violin and guitar. Hopefully one of the musicians will also be the musical director (we need a keyboard player right away for the auditions). It would be good if the actors have some experience singing harmony. Crew; sound, lighting, media, roadies and the usual other stuff. Open Auditions will be Saturday, April 7, at a location to be announced. Pay, to start will, be Forty Dollars per show, we’ll be doing eight per week. It is expected that will be going up soon. “Adventures” is based on real life events; please Google: La Grange, Texas, The Chicken Ranch and Marvin Zindler. Also The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, which was a book musical comedy and movie (starring Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds).
