AGVA sign-in begins 30 minutes prior to each Open Call. All current AGVA members will be seen first, given they report at the appropriate call time.

Dancers (April 9th)
For all Dance Roles:
Theme park and/or guest interaction experience preferred. Cast performs a 5 minute dance routine outdoors, on concrete, followed by a 30 minute meet and greet with park guests, 6 times a day.
Female Dancers for Diamond Dolls and Can-Can (April 9)
Open Call at 10:00am
Seeking energetic and engaging performers with intermediate to advanced levels of dance experience to play classic 1950’s Hollywood chorus girl types and/or traditional French Can-Can types.
Must be 5’3” or taller, trim and fit.
During the summer Diamond Dolls and Can-Can run 7 days a week. Performers are usually scheduled 2 – 5 days per week during this time.
Prepare:
Be prepared to dance in dance heels. Please wear form-fitting clothing. Type out audition will apply.
Female and Male Dancers for Street Sweep (April 9)
Open Call at 1:00pm
Seeking energetic and engaging performers with intermediate to advanced levels of dance experience for a hip-hop, street style dance element. Big personalities and dance/acrobatic tricks welcome!
During the summer Street Sweep runs 7 days a week. Performers are usually scheduled 2 – 5 days per week during this time.
Prepare:
Be prepared to dance in sneakers, or dance shoes. No heels. Type out audition will apply.
Female and Male Dancers for a new Tap dance element (April 9)

Seeking energetic and engaging performers with intermediate to advanced levels of synchronized, rhythm tap dance experience.

Improv Performers (April 10th)
For all Improv Roles
Seeking high energy performers to create an engaging and exciting Atmosphere throughout the theme park. Performers with strong comedic timing and guest interaction experience preferred. Selected candidates must be available to attend call backs on April 12th.
Seeking:
• British Palace Guard/Bobby – Male performer who can interact with and entertain guests while speaking in a British accent for a sustained period of time.
• Dino Chasers – Male and female performers portraying paleontologists who have strong story telling abilities and guest interaction experience.
• NY Windows – A diverse group of male and female performers portraying New York locals, who can interact with and entertain guests while speaking in a New York accent for a sustained period of time.
• French Cop –Male performer who can interact with and entertain guests while speaking in a French accent for a sustained period of time. Fluency in French a plus.
Prepare:
Prepare a one minute comedic monologue. Also, be prepared to speak in all dialects you are auditioning for. You will audition once for all Improv roles.
Animated Characters (April 14th)
Seeking energetic male and female performers who enjoy entertaining and interacting with guests to play various body suit roles.
Height range(s): 4’4” to 5’4” and 5’6″ to 6’4″
Job requires physical exertion and working outdoors in full-body costume and full head mask. Also, seeking performers able to dance in full-body costume.
Character shifts run 7 days a week. Performers must be available at least 3 days a week, including weekends April 20th – early August.
Prepare:
Be prepared to move. Type out audition will apply. Selected candidates will be asked to dance.
Look-a-Like Characters (April 14th)
Seeking energetic male and female performers who bear a strong physical and vocal likeness to a specific look-a-like character listed below. These roles require talented individuals who enjoy entertaining and interacting with guests.
Lucy Ricardo (female) 5’6″ – 5’8″
Betty Boop (female) 5’2″ – 5’5″
Shaggy (male) 6’1″ – 6′ 3″
Performances are outdoors, on concrete, and occur 6-7 times a day. Shifts run 7 days a week. Performers must be available at least 3 days a week, including weekends June – early September.
Prepare:
Provide an introduction as the look-a-like you are impersonating. Type out audition will apply. Selected candidates will be put into wig and make-up.
Stilt Walkers (April 14th)
Seeking energetic male performers who enjoy entertaining and interacting with guests to play Transformer Stilt Walkers.
Height range(s): 5’6″ – 6’5″ and 120-220 lbs. (see requirements below)
Job requires physical exertion and working outdoors in full-body costume and full head mask. Character shifts run 7 days a week. Performers must be available at least 3 days a week, including weekends June through early September.
Prepare:
Be prepared to move. Type out audition will apply. Stilt walking ability will be assessed during the audition for selected candidates. With the completion of Stilt School, performers must be able to walk on stilts for a sustained period of time. If possible, bring your own stilts – please no peg, or jumping stilts.
For all roles:
• Please bring a headshot and resume for each audition you attend.
• Availability is a factor when casting. Candidates must be available for training, rehearsals, and summer peak dates as listed on the availability calendar distributed at the audition. Training and Rehearsals begin approximately late April and early May. Performances begin early June through early September.
• Most performances are outdoors, in the elements, on concrete, 6 to 7 times a day up to 35 minutes in length.
• Parking – Inform the attendant that you are there for auditions and park in the structure you are guided to. Plan for a 10 minute walk from the parking structure to the audition location.
