OPTC is seeking a resident Non AEA company of Performers and Performer Interns who will perform in several if not all of the productions during the summer season. We rarely “job in” for just one or two shows.
2014 Season includes:
Call Me Madam – 6/26-7/5
Singin’ in the Rain-7/10-19
Chicago – 7/24-8/2
Crazy for You-8/7-16
Bonnie and Clyde-8/21-8/30
Ebenezer- A Musical Christmas Carol-12/12-21
Auditions will be held March 17 and 18th, 10 am to 5 pm and March 19th 9:30-12, Nola Studios, 250 W 54th Street, NYC, NY (Between Broadway and 8th). Please bring headshot and resume, 16 bars standard musical theatre selection appropriate to the season with sheet music in the correct key, an accompanist will be provided.
You may be asked to stay or return later in the day for a movement/dance call. Please bring clothes to dance in and dance shoes including tap shoes if you tap. Callbacks and readings may also me later in the day or later in the week. Anyone present at 9 am will be given an appointment for later in the day until all times are taken.
All roles are open, all positions are paid. Housing is available, however, performers with local housing and ability to commute to Barnegat are encouraged to audition.
