Last chance for extras on Halt & Catch Fire

The new AMC series “Halt & Catch Fire” about the 80’s and the personal computing innovation in the 80’s may be coming to a wrap pretty soon. Casting directors for the show have released a ‘final chance’ extras call in the Atlanta area. If you want to be a part of this production, this may be it.

The AMC show is looking for people who have not appeared on the show yet. They are looking for men and women mid 20’s to 40’s, all fresh faces to the show.

AMC has been going steady with new original scripted series and “Halt & Catch Fire” is one of twonew shows they have in store for 2014.  “Turn” is their other new drama that premieres this month. In recent years AMC has produced some critically acclaimed TV shows which include “Breaking Bad“, “Walking Dead” and “Mad Men”.

AMC Summer 2014 will heat up with the June premiere of “Halt and Catch Fire,” which captures the rise of the PC era in the early 1980s, during which an unlikely trio – a visionary, an engineer and a prodigy – take staggering personal and professional risks in the race to build a computer that will change the world.

Turn” and “Halt and Catch Fire” are produced by AMC Studios and both series will be distributed internationally through Entertainment One (eOne) Television.

The show is filming 10 episodes for season 1.  The show is being created by Chris Cantwell and Chris Rogers. Executive producers forHalt & Catch Fireare  “Southland’s” Jonathan Lisco, “Breaking Bad’s” Mark Johnson and also by Melissa Bernstein who also worked on “Breaking Bad“.
