My All American is a feature film directed by Angelo Pizzo (writer, producer for “Hoosiers”, “Rudy’). It is based on a true story about University of Texas football great Freddie Steinmark and his
relationship with legendary Texas gridiron coach Darrell Royal. The film takes us through Freddie’s life as a young scrappy player on his high school football team in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, his transition to an inspirational and driving force as a Longhorn at UT, and his eventual losing battle with a cancerous tumor after the 1969 NCAA national championship, the “Big Shootout”, against the
Arkansas Razorbacks.

Hello! I don’t see an E-mail to contact you about this audition, but I am a 19 year old male living in Downtown Dallas, and i am interested in being one of the extra players. I am an acting Major , and I played football for 12 years throughout grade school, so I would love the opportunity to get back into the pads while also being in a film. Please contact me if you still need extras! thank you!
