Performance Information: “Trial of Jack the Ripper” at the Riverside County Historic Courthouse Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22-23, 2014 as part of the annual event in downtown Riverside. The play will be put on at 11 a.m., 2 and 4 p.m. both days of the festival.

The Synopsis:
Who murdered five London prostitutes in the fall of 1888? Who committed the most grisly and disturbing murders in the annals of British criminology? Who was Jack the Ripper?
That question will be explored, the suspects questioned, and the evidence tested in this one act play.

What is the Riverside Dicken’s Festival-
The Riverside Dickens Festival is an annual celebration of Mr. Dickens’ Birthday and his lifetime 1812 – 1877. This two day event celebrates the styles, music, crafts, and fashions of this marvelous period in history.
