Auditions for Featured Roles on ABC’s “Nashville”

On Location is casting a few people for some featured roles on the “Nashville” TV series that films in Tennessee.

The roles listed below will be requiring an in-person interview with the director this week on Thursday. The show is looking to fill some featured roles for scenes that will be filming in early 2015.

The scenes will film in the Nashville, TN area and all background actors /  featured extras that are cast for the scene will be paid an hourly wage with possible overtime if filming goes over an 8 hour day. The series is looking to cast extras who have not yet worked on the series this season.

“Nashville” is about country stars and more specifically, the relationship between 2 female country singers. The  2 women are both country music superstars. Connie Britton plays the role of Rayna Jaymes, a country music legend who is now aging and seeing her popularity suffer. Hayden Panettiere plays rising star Juliette Barnes whose new found popularity threatens Rayna Jaymes.

FEATURED EXTRAS:

ABC series Nashville for Director INTERVIEW on THURSDAY 12/11/14 (*MUST also be able to attend the interview – *NO EXCEPTIONS!) -and- for WORK in JANUARY 2015. (see role for specific date)

–NEW FACES who have never worked and/or those who have NOT worked at all within the past 4 weeks ONLY!–

Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail 10-14 business days AFTER you work.

We obviously do not yet have Call Times so you would need to be be fully 100% available. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT! We rarely, if ever, book this far in advance but since we will be on our holiday break and resume shooting right away in the New Year, we need to cast these roles now. PLEASE if you submit and/or attend an interview – BE CERTAIN that you will BE AVAILABLE in JANUARY 2015!!

Location is in the NASHVILLE, TN area.

FEATURED EXTRAS:
MUSICIANS: MALE ONLY (we are NOT looking for any female musicians!), all ethnicities, age range 18-80, variety of types to include: “Bro Country” types, Old School Bluegrass Guys, Cowboy Country Stars, Trucker types, “Down Home” Country types, Florida Georgia Line types, Tattooed Rocker types, Rockabilly Pompadour types, Country “Bieber” types. You will NOT be performing at all! The scene takes place in Rayna James’ (Connie Britton) record label where she is interviewing/auditioning new male acts for her label. It will be a ‘look’ only. WORK DATE: FRIDAY 1/9/15

FBI AGENTS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 28-65,clean-cut, conservative, tall, fit, professional. Should look like classic military type FBI. WORK DATE: TUESDAY 1/13/15

RADIO SHOW PRODUCER: female, Caucasian, age range 30s, attractive, hip, professional, classy, cool. WORK DATE: TUESDAY 1/13/15
