As part of the BravoFact short film submission, we are looking to cast our two main leads in a timeless story of love and loss, joy and pain, that draws influence from the visual poetry of artists like Terrence Malick and Michelangelo Antonioni.
Male Lead: White, Aged 60-70. He is a man who has lived a full life and endured all of the highs and lows. Loyal to a fault, and full of passion and principle, he is a proud man who has worked hard his whole life to provide for his family. Despite his advanced years and blue-collar upbringing, his face still has the hints of someone who could have been a movie star if the stars had aligned differently.
Female Lead: Black, Aged 24-35. She is a strong, smart, and resourceful woman who people are drawn to. A timeless beauty and an old soul despite her young age, she exudes a warmth and joy of life that is completely infectious. She is a woman of unwavering faith who believes that family is the most precious gift of all. She marches to the beat of her own drum, and her strength of conviction is unflappable.
