Do your kids want be cast for paid roles in a movie?
An Independent feature film is looking for boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 12. There are lead roles available in this non-union project.
The roles will require an in person audition in Chicago. 4 Star Casting will be holding auditions this coming Wednesday. Currently, the film is looking for Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian and ethnically ambiguous youngsters.
The project is a short film about a young girl and her goldfish and there will be no dialogue for any of the roles. Kids that are cast in the project will be paid $150 for the day and receive IMDB credit for the film. The projects production company, Boom Thrift (www.boomthrift.com), is estimating that the filming may take 2 to 3 days and the filming location has yet to be determined.

Logline: A young girl takes her depressed goldfish on a journey to find her a new home. There is no dialogue apart from one little shout out (“Jake! Stop!”)

AUDITION DATE:
Wednesday, 7/30 – If selected you must be available to come to audition on Clark Street in Chicago between the hours of 10:00AM – 5:00PM – You should expect to be at the audition between 30 to 60 minutes as the director may want mix-match the kids in different groupings.
SHOOT DATE(S): TBA – Production believes the lead roles will shoot on 3 dates (possibly 2), 1 date may shoot into the early evening hours
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Because location is TBA, please note in the submission if you have your own vehicle for transportation. Meals and parking will be provided. When the project is complete, you will be given a copy for your reel. IMDB credit.
