Life with Mr X Pilot

We are casting for a TV pilot and it will be a paying gig shot here in Chicago. The pilot will go to production in summer of 2015 but we need a lead role cast now to test character dialogue synergy with other leads.
Role:
Lead – Brian 30- 50 year old male preferably not athletic, office workeresque body *must be able to swim*
BRIAN
35 ish white Male who just lost his job, his girl Friend (Liz) broke up with him and his life is in shambles. He smokes a lot of pot, is a functional alcoholic, sci fi computer, and is a gaming nerd that goes to the sci fi / gaming convention circuits and hits the Renaissance faire and does what he can to escape

We need to fill this role in preproduction, everyone will be considered and we will hold a formal casting call in December; you will get to do a 3 minutes of your best monologue, a site reading, and endure a screen test.
