SYNOPSIS: Daniel is stuck taking care of his abusive, dementia-stricken father. To get through the ordeal, Daniel must let go of their troubled past and accept their new relationship.

CASTING:
JOE (LEAD) 60s-80s, Caucasian – a widower with PTSD and has a recent onset of dementia, he shifts in and out of lucidity moving from abrasive and abusive to childlike and sweet; role involves a minor stunt (light physical scuffle);

DANIEL (LEAD) 30-45, Caucasian – Daniel has been estranged from his family for years and struggling with life. Pressured by his older brother, he reluctantly agrees to care for his abusive father for three weeks. He learns to accept his father and reconnects with his family. The role involves a minor stunt (a light physical scuffle).

PAY/PERKS: $100/day, includes meal, travel and living accommodations.

SHOOT DATES: 8/10 in Concord; 8/22, 8/23, 8/24 in Sacramento.
